- Technical Lead, MoCA Cognition (2025-07 to present, remote). Cross-platform SaMD for digital cognitive assessment (iPad, Android, web) with AI scoring of speech and drawings, used in clinical studies in Canada and the US. Owns architecture, data model, REST APIs and clients; designed multi-region data residency via a GraphQL study registry on Azure; owns the AI scoring integration (speech-to-text on GPU ECS, LLM scoring on Amazon Bedrock), versioned rescoring and server-side audio normalisation; cost analysis that led to roughly halving AI infrastructure run rate; penetration-test remediation, log redaction, PHI handling under HIPAA and GDPR; IEC 62304 / ISO 13485 change control and traceability in Ketryx; reviews every pull request and runs technical interviews.
